McDonald hosts Bohemians FC briefing

Sinn Féin President Mary Lou McDonald TD today hosted representatives from Bohemians Football Club in Leinster House where they briefed political staff on their exciting redevelopment plans.

The club representatives, Luke O’Riordan and Daniel Lambert also outlined their ongoing community outreach work and rehabilitation initiatives.

Speaking after the briefing, the Dublin Central TD said:

“I was delighted to facilitate the briefing today from Bohemians FC who outlined their ambitious and exciting redevelopment plans for their home stadium at Dalymount, the spiritual home of Irish football. The new plans will greatly boost the local economy in Phibsborough, with the potential of becoming a popular recreational and tourist facility.”

Ms McDonald TD added:

“The club and its members are fantastic role models for Irish soccer fans, particularly given their community outreach initiatives and the opportunities being provided to disabled citizens. I look forward to seeing their exciting new redevelopment plans become a reality in the near future and I’ve pledged the Bohs my full support as they set out to reach their goals!”
